About Abbie McGilvery, Marketing Coach and Social Media Strategist

Hi! I'm Abbie. 

I believe it's my mission in life to help people STOP RANDOM ACTS OF MARKETING and get focused on their marketing goals, plan for growth, and figure out how to best use their authentic voice to match their audiences’ needs and desires.

Combining years of experience, my love of Magic Marker Mapping (brain organization is my superpower!), and knowledge of all things digital, I help business owners, teams, and leaders of organizations get clear on what they do, who they're talking to, and how to best share their stories with the world. 

I'm a tree-hugging, art-loving Mom from Windham, Maine with a background in Psychology and Criminology and professional experience in marketing for both nonprofit and corporate sectors. I'm a "social media scrapbooker" with an intense passion for organization, storytelling, and empowering others to take their marketing to the next level. 

Since launching From The Nest in 2014, I've had the pleasure of working with business owners, artists, farmers, coaches, speakers, authors, and organizations to build brand visibility and tell their stories on digital channels. 

I love working with small groups and one-on-one as an adviser and mentor for those who need guidance in the (often overwhelming!) marketing and social media world. I enjoy sharing my voice through speaking engagements, bringing together groups of brave people, and watching other creative people SHINE!
